Stuart Cooper and David “JIji Martinez are two local young men that befriended me when I landed here 19 years ago. They both have new young families and while Jiji is a local surf champ with experience teaching all ages or seeking out the big waves at Witches Rock Stuart is running  his own successful boat adventure tour company from the new Flamingo Marina and grew up fishing in neighboring Brasilito. They have agreed to act as our trusted local guides as we attempt to give you the true local flavor of this beloved destination. I owe both these young men as much as possible for their help and continued support these years.
